Also one of the dirty track Google shows doesn't exists and you have to come across from the other tab until you reach a place where it says Private Property ahead. There a couple of cars can be parked between trees and a trail starts towards woods.
This is a great trail, but an important access to the south has been disconnected by a land owner ... who has chosen not to allow access. The property is currently for sale, so maybe the new owners will be more open to their community of trail folk. I haven't hiked or ran the north segment yet.
No trail maps posted and one of the trails take you to a rock that overlooks the shore.
Really beautiful place to explore and you get a great view of the lake from on top of the cliff.
Dirt track starts from about 2 KMs from where you reach mine of dead end.
You might be able to go down down to the shore through the woods. Not sure where other part of trail head.
