We went for the Thanksgiving Feast. While ordering we were told they were out of pumpkin pie. No problem. Waitress took our orders then came back a couple minutes later and told us that we couldn't have the feast because they were completely out. Now isn't this something the staff should know ahead of time!? This wouldn't be such a big deal if hadn't driven 4 1/2 hours from our home for the weekend hoping to have a delicious Thanksgiving Feast! Not happy.
This place deserves negative stars. TERRIBLE it was. I waited over a hour and half for food when the resturant was 1/4 full not even at 7pm on a Tuesday. Awful service. Foods no better than ready to go ribs at Metro. Only reason I'd say its "ok" is staff is usually friendly. But come on get your act together. Also their bathrooms are terrible the worst thing I've ever seen in my life. Their bathrooms are almost like that gas station bathroom in the middle of no where when you are on a road trip. Long story short Swiss Chalet is awful and its better stay away.
First the food is awesome second the servers make you feel so welcome and service is great. I recommend your experience here as a must do. Happy Holidays

The Good: I really enjoy their Chalet sauce.
The Bad: Our local location smelled like throw up when we last visited. The place looks like it's falling apart. The tables are all sticky like they haven't been properly cleaned in a long time. I ordered a quarter chicken and half rack ribs. What they brought me looked like someone's forgotten take out order. I looked around and seen that other customers had far nicer looking meals of the same type. I told the waitress but she didn't seem to care. I don't think my family and I will be returning again.
